ConnectMyPool Installation and Setup Instructions, Trouble Shooting and Firmware Updates

Imagine being able to control your AstralPool pool system anytime, anywhere. Now you can, with ConnectMyPool. This app, in combination with the Internet Gateway module, allows you to view and control your pool system from anywhere in the world. The available features of this app depend upon your pool system’s configuration, but include:

View your pool’s current water temperature.
View and change your heater’s set-point temperature.
Turn on and off your pool equipment, including pumps, valves, blowers, and more.
Turn on and off your pool lighting, and change their colours.
Activate any of your customised Favourites.

Please note that this app works in tandem with the Internet Gateway module. This module MUST be installed in your pool system for this app to function. The module can be obtained from your pool installer or local AstralPool representative.

The Internet Gateway module acts as a bridge between your pool system and the Internet. As such, it will require access to your home Internet connection. The Internet Gateway can use either a wireless (Wi-Fi ) or wired (Ethernet) connection.

Firmware Update

The Viron Connect System Firmware Versions manual can be used to find out the current firmware version of your Viron Connect system.

Internet Gateway - v4.1

Download Internet Gateway Firmware Version 4.1 Update

NOTE - This file can only be used with Internet Gateway versions 4.0.

Internet Gateway - v3.2

Download Internet Gateway Firmware Version 3.2 Update

NOTE - This file can only be used with Internet Gateway versions 3.0 or 3.1

Internet Gateway - v2.4

Download Internet Gateway Firmware Version 2.4 Update

NOTE - This file can only be used with Internet Gateway versions 1.0 to 2.3

Colour Touchscreen Firmware Updates

The Viron Connect System Firmware Versions manual can be used to find out the current firmware version of your Viron Connect system.

TOUCHSCREEN - V3.9

NOTE - This file can only be used with Touchscreen versions V3.0 and above (This version label can be found on the back of the touchscreen)

TOUCHSCREEN - V2.8

NOTE - This file can only be used with Touchscreen versions V1.1 - 2.6 (This version label can be found on the back of the touchscreen)

Please note that if you are updating a Touchscreen that is currently loaded with V1.6 or lower software, during the update all user settings are lost.
Attachment A of the Updating Firmware manual can be used to record the critical settings prior to the upgrade, to assist in set-up.
